Deanna Whitfield, Hygienist

After graduating high school in Arlington, I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2000. I was stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA, but was able to travel the world in a little more than four years. After serving one tour during Operation Iraqi Freedom while onboard the USS Peleliu, I decided to come back to Texas and further my education. I attended Texas Womanโ€™s University and earned a B.S. in dental hygiene. Practicing in Fort Worth was fun and gave me several years of experience in different offices.

In 2011, I left the private sector and accepted a job in Brenham at the State Supported Living Center for the mentally handicapped. I worked as the primary dental hygienist, performing on-site care to the individuals. A short year later, I met my husband and we moved to Montgomery. We live on Lake Conroe and have two cats. My step-daughter attends Montgomery High School and plays in the band. My husband and I love to travel, and often we are gone on our long weekends from the office.

I have been at America's Family Dental Tomball since 2012 and love my patients. The atmosphere is fast-paced yet organized. We work hard to perfect the best care to provide our patients. The technology here is new, and we are always updating. I look forward to meeting you!
